§1 General Provisions

1. These regulations (“Regulations”) define the terms of the quality guarantee offered by IGUANATREND® (hereinafter “the Seller”) in relation to VVK zippers manufactured by V. Valiuškio,
2. used in binder-type products sold through the online store at: https://iguanatrend.com
3. The quality guarantee constitutes a voluntary commitment of the Seller towards the Buyer, independent of the Buyer’s statutory rights arising from warranty for defects or the right of withdrawal.
4. The guarantee applies exclusively to the product component which is the zipper (hereinafter “the zipper”).

 §2 Scope of the Guarantee

1. The guarantee covers only cases where the zipper is damaged as a result of:

1. a manufacturing defect,
2. natural material wear occurring within a short time after the start of use, provided that the criteria set out in §3 are met.

2. The guarantee does not cover:

1. mechanical damage caused by the Buyer (in particular: cutting, tearing, self-repair attempts, or forceful fastening),
2. cases where the product has been used contrary to its intended purpose,
3. situations where the binder was selected in an incorrect size, resulting in zipper damage (e.g. the binder was too small, causing excessive tension).

§3 Conditions for Obtaining Guarantee Service

1. The following conditions must be met for a guarantee claim to be considered:

1. the binder size was correctly selected by the Buyer according to the size chart available on the Seller’s website,
2. the product shows no visible mechanical damage unrelated to the zipper,
3. the complaint is submitted within the time limits specified in §4.

2. To submit a guarantee claim, the Buyer must:

a) contact the store’s customer service by email at: shop@iguanatrend.pl,

b) provide the following information:

• order number or details enabling its identification,
• their measurements: shoulder width and chest circumference,
• the size of the purchased binder,
• a short description of the zipper defect and the expected resolution (replacement, repair, refund),

c) include a note with the order number in the return package,

d) return the product to the Seller according to the provided instructions, using the return label sent by the Seller (return shipping costs are covered by the Seller).

§ 4 Guarantee Period and Fulfilment Methods

1. If a zipper defect is reported within 14 calendar days from the date the product was delivered to the Buyer, the following options are available:

1. refund,
2. exchange for a new binder.
3. free zipper repair

2. If the defect is reported after the 14-day period, the Seller may only offer a free zipper repair. This service is available for up to 3 years from the date of receiving the product.

3. The Seller will respond to the guarantee claim within a maximum of 24 business hours.

4. The processing time for the claim (inspection and reshipment) shall not exceed 2 business days from the moment the Seller receives the returned product.

§ 5 Exclusions of Liability

1. The guarantee does not apply if:

1. the binder size was selected incorrectly (e.g. too small, causing excessive zipper strain),
2. the product shows signs of deliberate damage or tampering,
3. the product was returned in a condition preventing claim verification (e.g. heavily soiled, missing tags, damaged in areas other than the zipper),
4. the return package was sent as cash on delivery – such shipments will not be accepted by the Seller.

2. If the guarantee claim is rejected for any of the above reasons:

1. the Buyer will be informed of the decision by email,
2. the product may be returned to the Buyer at their expense (at the lowest possible shipping rate),
3. if the return shipping is not paid, the product will be stored in the Seller’s warehouse until collected.

§ 6 Final Provisions

1. These Regulations are effective as of November 1, 2025, and may be updated.
2. In matters not regulated herein, the provisions of the Polish Civil Code and the Act of May 30, 2014 on Consumer Rights (Journal of Laws 2014, item 827) shall apply.
3. These Regulations constitute an annex to the general terms and conditions of the IGUANATREND® online store.
